Additionally, both properties announced earlier that the Indiana Horse Racing Commission approved the start of live racing at both properties with Indiana Grand’s first card to begin on Monday, June 15 and Harrah’s Hoosier Park’s first card to begin on Tuesday, June 16. Both racing programs will be held in a spectator-free manner until further notice.
Both casinos will operate casino gaming at reduced capacity, in accordance with the Phase One Casino Reopening Guidelines issued by the Indiana Gaming Commission.
The following changes will be implemented upon reopening:
- Slot machine banks will be arranged to allow for social distancing.
- Table games will be offered as non-smoking and with limited seating.
- Guests will be required to wear masks while participating in table games.
- Team member temperature checks and screenings will be conducted daily.
- Team members will be required to wear masks.
- Guests will have their temperatures checked by a thermal imaging unit at each entrance.
- Guests will be strongly encouraged to wear masks, which will be provided to them.
Certain amenities, including the sports books, buffets, and VIP lounges, will remain closed until further notice and are expected to reopen in phases that are in line with consumer demand and pursuant to guidance provided by public health authorities.
